A R Rahman's Sister Makes Her Debut

A.R.Rahman is a World renowned Musician. It seems that, the other members of his family also don't want to be left behind. Already, G.V.Prakash Kumar, the Son of A.R.Rahman's Sister is rocking in the Music industry.

Now, it the turn of the A.R.Rahman's sister A.R.Reihana to make her presence felt in the industry. Already, she has been part of Music composition for few Tamil films like 'Machi', which featured Dushyanth, Keerthana, and Shuba Poonja.

A.R.Reihana is the mother of G.V.Prakash Kumar. She is a famous Playback singer, Music composer and RJ. Now, she is all set to make her debut in the Mollywood also.

A.R.Reihana is composing Music for the film 'Manchotile Veedu'. As a matter of coincidence, her Father R.K.Shekhar too served as famous Music Composer in Mollywood.

“What Happens When a Few Pages in a Novel Goes Missing?”

'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' is the movie produced by V.S.Rajkumar and co-produced by K.sathish. It is directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan.

'Thenmerku Paruvakkatru' fame Vijay Sedhupathi and Debutante Gayathri are playing the lead roles in this film. A.R.Rahman's Student Ved Shanker is making his debut. Cinematography is by C.Premkumar and Editing is by R.Govindaraj. Gavee takes care of the Art Direction.

'Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom' is based on a real-life incident. Regarding this, the Co-producer of the movie Satish says, "This is a film inspired from a chapter in the life of cameraman Premkumar (of Pasanga fame). Prem and Balaji are good friends and Balaji was witness to the incident that happened."

Satish also adds that, "What happens when a few pages in a novel goes missing? There's no continuity and you won't understand the story. The film deals with short term memory loss, and has been said in a humorous tone."


Cricket captain Saurav Ganguly in films?

One of India's most successful cricket captains, Saurav Ganguly though retired is not too far from the spotlight as he does commentaries and is also a game show host. Now he seems poised to make his grand entry into films. The cricketer recently watched Telugu film, Golconda High School starring Sumanth and loved it so much he went ahead and bought the remake rights for the film.
Now the film will be remade in Bengali and Ganguly himself is keen to play Sumanth's character, sources have reported. Given his natural flair it won't be surprising if he rocks in this new innings as an actor!
