Fashion film 1/3 narrated by Robbie Williams to support the launch of the superstar’s clothing line Farrell. Farrell, the new British menswear label, launches into stores in September 2011. The line is targeted at guys who like a bit of snap in their clothing – be it for a night out, an afternoon at the footie, or lounging around at home. “Wear it in, wear it out” is Farrell’s motto. The debut Autumn/Winter 2011/12 collection has a strong British feel, notably in its respect for Savile Row tailoring. Every piece is a keeper; this is gear for pulling out of the wardrobe time and time again. Details are rich and humorous, like the secret pockets… for the bus fare home. Branding and logos are tucked away inside. Signature garment for winter ’11 is the ¾-length coat. Outerwear includes a Harry Palmer-style Mac, a wool duffle and flak jacket inspired casual jackets. For dressing up, choose the one-button shawl collar dinner jacket in herringbone and wear it with tailored trousers and bib front dinner shirt.
