Vijay and Asin Thottumkal in lead roles, the film is the remake of the director’s previous Malayalam film Bodyguard. The film began its principal shoot in April 2010. Previously titled as Kaavalkaaran and Kaaval Kaadhal, the film will feature music composed by Vidyasagar. Kaavalan’s audio launch is scheduled to be held in Chennai on 8 December 2010 Before the official audio launch of Kaavalan, full length songs were out in the websites. The film is expected to arrive in theaters on 15th January 2011
