Actress Samantha Teams Up With Nandini Reddy

Samantha, who is currently busy with the Telugu film Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, will turn to Nandini Reddy's project from July 20th onwards. The actress is riding on the success of Naan Ee and has several projects lined up needing her attention.

Her next film in the pipeline will be directed by Nandini Reddy. Thaman has been roped in to score the music for this film.

Samantha, it may be mentioned here, was initially approached for Mani Ratnam's Kadal and Shankar's I but the actress could not allot her dates despite trying hard.

Director Hari Reveals About Singam 2

Director Hari revealed about Singam 2 recently. The director said that he has retained the same set of actors who had acted in Singam except Prakash Raj. Also, Hansika will be a new addition to the star cast apart from Bollywood actor Mukesh and a South African actor. While Anushka plays an industrialist daughter, Hansika will be seen as a college student. Manorama and Vivek, who were in the prequel, have also been retained.

Hari also disclosed that Suriya will be seen in two different get-ups in this film which is set in Thoothukudi. The director is planning to film the climax portions in some great location in South Africa, we hear.

Karthi and Anushka starrer Alex Pandian is all set for a grand release. The film, directed by Suraj, will hit the screens on October 12th, states official sources. In this entertainer, Santhanam plays the comedian and his teaming up with Karthi for the third consecutive time is one of the reasons for the film's expectations levels going up. Karthi and Santhanam create a laugh riot on the silver screens with their sheer presence and Alex Pandian is not going to be any different.

Nikhita Thukral, Sanusha, Milind Soman, Suman and Prathap Pothen are also included in the star cast. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for this film. Alex Pandian is produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the banner Studio Green.
