Parvathy Omanakuttan is keeping her fingers crossed, even as her debut Tamil flick 'Billa 2′ is getting ready to hit the screens. "It is a memorable role and I must thank Ajith and director Chakri Toleti for their cooperation," she says.
The beauty queen turned actress plays performance oriented role in this prequel to 'Billa'. "I play Jasmine, who is the love interest of Billa. I am part of many romantic scenes and of course, some action scenes," she says.
Heaping praises on Ajith, she says, "He never goes to the caravan after the shot is over. He will ensure that everyone on the sets feel comfortable. He would personally prepare tea and serve it to all. Such a down to earth person he is."
Produced by In Entertainment in association with Wide Angle Creations, 'Billa 2′ will see the light of the day very soon. It is being released all over Tamil Nadu by V Ravichandran of Aascar Films.

Actor Kamal Releases Pon Malai Pozhudhu Audio

The audio launch of Pon Malai Pozhudhu happened today at the Sathyam Cinemas around 9:30 am. Kamal Haasan, Vairamuthu, Madan Karky, Pandiraj, AR Murugadoss, Prithivi Pandiarajan, GNR Kumaravel and several others participated in this event.

The audio of Pon Malai Pozhudhu was released by Kamal Haasan and received by Vairamuthu first and then the trailer of the film was released by Kamal which was received by all the directors present at the venue.

Pon Malai Pozhudhu has been directed by AC Durai which had penned the script for the Suriya starrer Sillunu Oru Kadhal. The film will mark the debut of Aadhav Kannadasan and Gayathri, both of whom were present at the audio launch.

It was on Saturday that the audio of 'Saguni' was launched at a grand function in Chennai. In the next 24 hours, the 'Kanda Karavadai…' song was downloaded 75000 times, making a record of sorts. And music composer G V Prakash Kumar is so thrilled about it.
Sung by Shankar Mahadevan, the peppy number has some dialogues in between, which are mouthed by none other than Karthi Sivakumar, the protagonist of this political thriller loaded with humor.
"That is really great. 75,000 downloads in a single day is not an easy thing," says Prakash, adding: "We released two singles from the movie on Karthi's birthday. They got 2.5 lakh downloads in seven days."
This is the second time Prakash has worked for a Karthi starrer, with the first time being Selvaraghavan's 'Aayirathil Oruvan'. 'Saguni', directed by newcomer Shankar Dayal, has Pranitha as the leading lady. K E Gnanavelraja of Studio Green is the producer.
