However, he fails to achieve his selfish motive, both the times, because of the divine intervention of Narada and Vishnu. During his first attempt he gets married to Mandodari, mistaking her for Parvathi (Shivas wife). Condemned by his mother he sets out to get Aatma-Lingam again. He succeeds in getting the Aatma-Lingam, which is given on the condition that it will never be kept down on the earth. Ravana fails to fulfil the condition as he entrusts the Aatma-Lingam to a cowherd (Lord Ganesha), in order to perform his evening ritual of Sandhyavandhanam, who keeps it on the ground. The film ends telling the viewers about the failed attempts of Ravana, which is the (ithihasic) history of the birth of the piligrim place. See my channel for many more telugu old classics. . |

 Marilyn Martin (born May 4, 1954) is an American singer from Tennessee. Marilyn Martin first began her music career as a back-up singer. Married to her music producer Greg, she gained her first exposure in 1983 singing for Stevie Nicks and Joe Walsh during Nicks’ The Wild Heart tour, and also touring with Don Henley. As Joe Walsh and Don Henley were both from the popular band The Eagles, Martin felt especially honored. Martin’s most successful work was in 1985 with Phil Collins on the American #1 power ballad duet “Separate Lives” for the hit dance movie White Nights. She also had a solo American Top 40 hit “Night Moves” in 1986, The song’s music video, portraying Martin as a seductive vampire, gained moderate rotation on MTV. “Night Moves” was later followed by the romantic ballad “Move Closer”. Martin also sang “Sorcerer”, written by Stevie Nicks, for the 1984 movie soundtrack Streets of Fire (with Stevie singing backing vocals).
